Our Engagement:

I have to admit I have been waiting for Ken to ask me to marry him since our first date and I never thought it would come this soon, but I'd hoped it would. I wasn't even suspicious until the ski trip and that is when Ken began acting a little strange although he had the ring for quite some time. I thought he was going to ask me on the trip, and when he didn't I decided that he wasn't going to anytime soon. The fact was that he hadn't had time to ask my parents yet, but his already knew!

Christmas Eve: We went to my Aunt Sandra and Uncle Eddie's to play games with my mom's family and didn't get home until very late that night. Little did I know, while I was wrapping mom's gifts from dad Ken had pulled them in to the kitchen to talk to them. About what?

Christmas Day 2000: Ken spent Christmas Eve night at my house and we awoke to presents and cappuccino.  We opened our presents and I was excited about what I had gotten Ken (MI2 sunglasses, a leather jacket, and a watch). So much that I didn't even notice where mine was until all the presents had been opened. Then I thought something had to be up. My parents and Adam went outside to play on dad's new scooter (haha) and Ken asked me to sit on the couch. He gave me a box which was to big to be a ring.....but there was a smaller box in there. As I opened the small box Ken got down on his knee and started to ask me to marry him. I don't even remember what he said aside from make me the luckiest or happiest man alive and marry me. I was so excited I put the ring on myself!! It was a beautiful moment and it was replayed throughout the holidays as we were able to tell family and friends. And that is the reason that you are reading this.

We are getting married!!!
